  • These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to “Win Your Dream Destination 2023” (“Contest”).
  • By registering or taking part in this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Contest Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Organiser concerning and in connection with this Contest.
  • The Participants are deemed to have agreed that HL Assurance may contact you via voice call for the purposes of this Contest and/or Prize.
  • Participants consent that their personal data may be used by HL Assurance and its affiliates, and may be disclosed by HL Assurance to its affiliates to send them marketing and promotional information and materials by post and/or emails.

Qualifying Period
  • The Contest qualifying period is from 01 March 2023 to 31 July 2023 (both dates inclusive).
  • The Organiser reserves the right to change the Qualifying Period.
Eligibility and Participation
  • To be eligible to enter this Contest, a participant must complete all the following:
    • You must have purchased COVIDSafe Travel Protect360 or CovidSafe Travel Assured policy (“COVIDSafe”) from HL Assurance during Qualifying Period.
    • The purchase of COVIDSafe should not apply to any other promotion code, scheme, or privileges.
    • COVIDSafe can be purchased via all platform or any of our Authorized Intermediaries.
    • Participants must be Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident or holder of valid Employment Pass, work permit, dependent pass, student pass, or long-term visit pass issued by the authorities in Singapore who are at least 18 years old.
  • The following categories of people are not eligible to participate in the Contest:
    • a. All permanent and/or contract employees (“Employees”) of HL Assurance and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers, and sisters) (“Immediate Family Members”).
  • The Organiser has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of Participants. Such determination shall be final and the Organiser is not obliged to give any reason for its determination
Allocation of Contest Chances
    • The Participants will be given one (1) Contest Chance (“Chance”) for every one (1) point awarded during Contest Period based on Eligible Products, according to the table below

  • The Organiser has the absolute discretion to disqualify any Chance that does not meet the Terms and Conditions. Such determination is final and conclusive, and the Organiser is not obliged to give any reasons for its determination.
Prize
  • Participants are always subjected to these Terms and Conditions to be eligible to participate in the Contest. With every one (1) point awarded, each Participant is eligible for one (1) chance to enter the Contest.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, replace and/or substitute any of the Prize(s) with any item of similar value.
  • At the end of the Qualifying Period, the Organiser will select 20 eligible entries (“Winners”) on 17 to 28 July 2023.
  • An email notification will be sent to the Top 3 Winners on 01 August 2023 to request for document (s) verification. In the event the Top 3 Winners are disqualified, the next Winner from the list of 20 eligible entries will be considered and notified.
  • The finalized Winners will receive a separate email notification on Prize redemption details.
  • The Prizes available for this Contest are as follow:
    • Three (3) X SGD 3,000 for reimbursement
  • Prize will only be reimbursed to Policy Holder and for Policy Holder’s flight ticket only
  • Each winner can only be reimbursed with one flight ticket
  • Policy Holder flight ticket travel dates used for reimbursement must be within Contest Period.
  • Winners must produce evidence and/or purchase of air ticket with the name of the policy holders for verification where required.
  • At the point of prize giving, winners must not have cancelled their COVIDSafe.
  • Should winners purchase their flight ticket based on Krisflyer points or equivalent, HL Assurance reserves the rights to only reimburse each winner up to SGD 500.
  • Participants must provide their details (i.e. full name as per NRIC, email address, and contact number) as requested by the Organiser after they are selected as the winners.
  • In respect of the Prize:
    • The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable and/or redeemable for cash. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any form of liability that may arise from the participant winning and accepting the Prize.
    • The Prize cannot be resold.
  • Each Participant will affirm the accuracy of all information provided at the time of submission for this Contest. Any misrepresentation of facts or particulars (deemed material by The Organiser) shall result in disqualification and/or the forfeiture, withholding, withdrawal or reclaiming of any prizes won.
  • The Prize is provided as-is with no warranty or guarantee. All applicable laws and regulations apply, including but not limited to tax laws. Each Winner is liable for any and all tax obligations arising from the award of the Prize to him/her.
  • The Winners must present printed email Winner notification and any identification document(s) (as may requested by the Organiser) to redeem the Prize.
  • The Winners are required to self-collect their Prize at the HL Assurance’s office, 11 Keppel Road, #11-01 ABI Plaza Singapore 089057 on or before 18 August 2023 during office hours. The Contest Prize that are not collected after 18 August 2023 shall be forfeited and HL Assurance reserves the rights to deal with all unclaimed prize in any manner deemed fit.
  • The Organiser reserves the right, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute, withdraw, add to or alter the Prize(s) offered without notice to the participants.
  • The Organiser’s decision at all stages of this Contest and on the winners is final and no correspondence will be entertained. No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained. The participants shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by the Organiser concerning, without limitation, these Terms & Conditions, the rules, procedures and regulations of this Contest, the award of prizes and any other matters relating to this Contest.
  • If, for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Organiser which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. The Organiser assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration in relation to the Contest.
  • The Organiser is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email to be received by the Organiser on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest.
  • LIABILITY, INDEMNITY AND RELEASE: In consideration for the Organiser accepting the Participant’s participation in the Contest, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participant releases and forever discharges the Organiser from all claims that Participants may have or may have had but for this release arising from or in connection with any Participant’s participation in this Promotion. Participants indemnifies and holds harmless the Organiser to the extent permitted by law in respect of any claim by any person, arising as a result of or in connection with Participant’s participation in the Promotion. For the purposes of this clause, claim(s) means and includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, damage, penalty, cost or expense however arising.

Promotion Terms and Conditions
  • The promotion is held from now until 29 February 2024, customers who purchase any Travel Insurance policy (COVIDSafe Travel Protect360 Single Trip or Travel Protect360 Annual Trip) will automatically be enrolled into COVIDSafe Travel Protect360 No Claim Discount programme.
  • For COVIDSafe Travel Protect360 Single Trip Policyholder(s) who return from Trip and has no claims within stipulated timeframe of 30 days from the policy end date, will be eligible for a 5% discount promotion code.
  • For subsequent travel purchase with the utilizing the 5% discount promotion code, where the policyholder(s) who return from Trip and has no claims within stipulated timeframe of 30 days from the policy end date, will be eligible for an additional 10% discount promotion code.
  • Thereafter for subsequent travel purchase utilizing the 10% discount promotion code, where the policyholder(s) who return from Trip and has no claims within stipulated timeframe of 30 days from the policy end date, will be capped at 10% discount promotion code.
  • For COVIDSafe Travel Protect360 Annual Plan Policyholder(s) who has completed the policy period of 1 year and has no claims during the policy period and within stipulated timeframe of 30 days from the policy end date, will be eligible for a 10% discount promotion code refund upon the next Travel Protect360 Annual Plan renewal.

Frequently Asked Questions for COVIDSafe Travel Protect360 Insurance

A: Yes, the Company will indemnify you for follow-up treatment within thirty (30) days after Your return from the Trip, provided you have sought initial treatment overseas for Bodily Injury or Sickness which occurred outside Singapore during the Trip within the Period of Insurance and such initial treatment is claimable under the Overseas Medical Expenses benefits.

A: Yes. The Company will indemnify you up to the Benefits Payable under the Policy for the treatment sought within three (3) days after your return from the Trip where initial treatment for Bodily Injury or Sickness was not sought overseas, up to a maximum of thirty (30) days from the date of first treatment in Singapore, and subject to a limit of S$100 per visit.

A: You will need to submit a claim within thirty (30) days upon returning to Singapore.

A: If your loss arises out of robbery, burglary or theft, you should report the loss to the local police within 24 hours after the loss / incident and obtain a written statement from the police to substantiate your travel insurance claim.

A: One of the benefits of our travel insurance is the 24 hours Travel, Emergency Medical and Evacuation Assistance which provides for loss of travel documents and baggage, air tickets arrangements, emergency medical evacuation, referral services for interpreters / translators, legal, embassy, hospital admission and other medical facilities etc. These services are available 24/7 by calling our Hotline at (65) 6922 6009.

A: No. Our Travel Insurance Policy excludes all pre-existing medical conditions prior to the trip.

A: No. Our policy does not cover any pregnancy-related issues.

A: Yes, dental treatment is covered (as a result of Bodily Injury only).

A: No. The travel plan does not cover you if you are travelling contrary to the advice of any Qualified Medical Practitioner or for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment.

A: No. Our travel insurance does not cover adventure activities. You can find the list of exclusion in our policy wordings.

A: A 3-day waiting period applies only to trip cancellation, postponement, and curtailment due to COVID-19 in Enhanced Travel Inconvenience (for COVID-19).

Claims Procedure and Documentation

Please submit your claim to us with the original Claim form and supporting documents within 30 days upon returning from your trip.

Common documents for all Travel Insurance Claims:

      • Claim Form
      • Copy of flight itinerary
      • Proof of travel, i.e. original boarding pass, air tickets, copy of passport etc.

Supporting documents needed when making a claim for:

        1. Personal Accident, Medical, Dental and Other Expenses
          • Medical Report and Medical Certificate
          • Original Medical bills / receipts
          • Death Certificate, autopsy report, coroner’s findings, if applicable (for death claim)
          • Documentary proof of relationship between deceased and claimant (for death claim)
          • Motor accident report / police report (for injury / death resulting from a traffic accident)
        2. Baggage & Personal Effects
          • Baggage loss or damage report / Property irregularity report from the carrier / airline
          • Baggage tag(s) issued from the carrier / airline during check-in
          • Written confirmation of carrier / airline’s settlement / rejection of claim for damage / loss of property
          • Photographs of damaged items
          • Original purchase receipts of damaged/lost items
        3. Money & Documents
          • Copy of police report lodged at place of loss within 24 hours
          • Receipts for replacement of passport / visa
          • Transportation and / or hotel bills / receipts incurred for replacement of document
        4. Baggage Delay (at the scheduled overseas destination)
          • Baggage delay report
          • Baggage tag(s) issued from the carrier / airline during check-in
          • Written confirmation from carrier / airline on reason and duration of delay
          • Acknowledgement receipt of baggage received
        5. Trip Cancellation / Curtailment
          • Medical Report and other medical documents / Death Certificate
          • Proof of relationship (if due to sickness, injury or death of related person)
          • Written advice or medical certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner to cancel / curtail trip
          • Original tour booking invoice / receipt
          • Travel agent and / or airline’s confirmation of the refund amount
          • Original invoice / receipt for charges incurred in amending or purchasing additional air ticket (for trip curtailment)
        6. Travel Delay or Travel Misconnection or Overbooked Flight or Flight Diversion
          • Written confirmation from carrier / airline on reason and duration of delay, overbooked flight, travel misconnection, and / or diversion
          • Air ticket and Boarding pass
        7. Loss of Home Contents due to Burglary
          • Copy of police report lodged within 24 hours upon discovery
          • Invoice of damaged items / quotations
          • Original photographs of damaged items
        8. Personal Liability
          • Do not admit any liability or make any offer, promise or payment without our prior consent
          • Forward all correspondence / documents from third parties concerning the accident to us immediately
          • Copy of police report lodged (if applicable)
