HL Assurance gave very good & detailed explanation of the policy. The process of enquiry to purchase was quite seamless and painless.
A: Phone Protect360 is a mobile insurance to cover for your Singapore-registered phone and is underwritten by HL Assurance, a member of the Hong Leong Group.
A: Phone Protect360 insures your mobile phone against accidental damages to your phone, which includes liquid damage. However it does not cover for cosmetic damages.
A: IMEI number is the unique identification of any mobile phone, which will be used to verify against our record in the event of a claim.

A: You may purchase one Phone Protect360 for each of your phones.
A: The calculation starts from the date you purchased your phone from the Singapore Mobile Network Operators, Singapore Mobile Network Operators Exclusive Distributors or Manufacturer of Mobile Phone to the day you decide to purchase the policy. We will only insure for phones purchased less than 1 year from the date of purchase. Phones with age less than 1 year will be eligible for this plan.
A: You may like to contact your Singapore Mobile Network Operators, Singapore Mobile Network Operators Exclusive Distributors or Manufacturer of Mobile Phone (e.g. Singtel, M1 or Starhub) or directly from the mobile phone manufacturer’s retail store to check on the purchase records. Alternatively, other proof of receipts to show the purchased date will need to be presented to us or the authorised mobile repair shop for verification at point of claim.
A: Yes, only phones from Singapore Mobile Network Operators, Singapore Mobile Network Operators Exclusive Distributors or Manufacturer of Mobile Phone (Telcos e.g. Singtel, M1 or Starhub) or directly from the mobile phone manufacturer’s retail store will be insured.
A: Cosmetic damage are defined as damages that does not affect the normal operation/ functionality of the mobile phone E.g. scratch marks, dents or discoloration.
A: Phone Protect360 is an annual plan which will cover the mobile phone for twelve (12) months. The policy will commence from the date of enrolment (application).
A: To ensure excellence in service quality for our customers, we have specially appointed a panel of experienced and professional team as our authorised repairer.
A: Please call our claims hotline at 6702-0202.Once we have assessed your claims, our panel of authorised repairers will either provide a door-to-door repair service or bring your damaged mobile phone back for repairs.
A: Please produce the following documents for claims;
